An editorial brochure centered on the cinematography of Roger Deakins, translating his use of light and composition into a tactile, printed format. The design emphasizes simplicity and control, mirroring the precision that defines his work.
After studying Deakin’s work, I was able to pull from his aesthetic to inspire the mood of my design. The grid system is subtle but consistent and mirrors cinematic pacing. The typography is clean and controlled, and the color and imagery directly reference the source material.
