All the Things Magazine

All the Things (ATT) is a new independent magazine founded in Sacramento, California, dedicated to readers who thrive on curiosity, connection, and culture. Each issue curates stories that bridge local and global perspectives, blending journalism, art, and design into an exploration of identity and creativity in the modern world. This issue focuses on how people shape and are shaped by their environments—through food, movement, and craft. From Sacramento’s evolving dining landscape to Seattle’s sustainable kitchens and the skate parks that define the city’s rhythm, the magazine celebrates makers who turn everyday culture into something alive and meaningful.

This magazine project required the skills to add distinction between each article so that they could stand out. Their content each needed to be expressed strongly and clearly while still being part of the whole magazine system. My magazine layout showcases a strong grid system in which each article takes liberties to keep the reader engaged. The visual pacing is maintained by not allowing spreads to become too dense and varying the openness depending on the content.
